Norda 001A M Pewter Review

The shoe is great overall. The one issue is that it is not easy to slip on and off. It would be preferable if the opening around the foot were less rigid so that one can tie it tighter if you need greater security around your foot or tie it a bit looser so it is easier to slip on and off for frequent daily use especially the winter when people go in and out of their house and shoes are dirty so typically leave them in the entrance way.

Norda Nailed It With These Shoes!

The Norda 001A – M – Cinder is hands down one of the most comfortable and durable trail running shoes I’ve ever worn. After spending time in them, I genuinely wish I’d had these back in my ultra-running days in the 90s. The comfort, protection, and resilience they offer would have been a game changer over long miles and rugged terrain.

From the first run, they feel dialed in—secure without being restrictive, supportive without feeling bulky. The durability is what really stands out. These shoes are clearly built for people who put in real miles and expect their gear to hold up. You can feel the quality in every step.

This is my second pair of Norda 001s, and it definitely won’t be my last. They’ve earned a permanent place in my rotation. If you’re looking for a trail shoe that blends comfort, performance, and serious longevity, Norda has nailed it.
