Q. Is there a way I can track my order?
Upon shipment, you will receive an order confirmation email containing the name of the shipping company and a link to the tracking number.
Q. What happens if I am not home when my shipment is delivered
Safe drop option - if not deemed safe the shipper will leave a note or try again the following day.
Q. Do your shoes fit true to size?
For the 001, we suggest taking 1/2 size (US) larger than your usual size.
For the 002 & 003 we suggest taking 1 full size (US) larger than your usual size.
Q. What is the difference in sizing for women's and men’s footwear?
Our shoes are based on a unisex last. To deliver the best fit and performance, our last shape is wider at the forefoot to allow the metatarsals to flex / do their work, and dialed in at midfoot and the heel.
norda's can easily be converted between men's and women's sizes:
W8.5 = M7, W9 = M7.5, W9.5 = M8, W10 = M8.5, W10.5 = M9, W11 = M9.5
M7 = W8.5, M7.5 = W9, M8 = W9.5, M8.5 = W10, M9 = W10.5, M9.5 = W11
Q. What types of conditions can norda shoes be used in?
norda shoes are designed for trail running. The grip, cushion, lightweight and strong breathable upper are ideal for all types of terrain and conditions. The 001 is our do it all shoe while the 002 is a more specific piece of trail equipment for faster runs or ones that take you through super technical terrain. Together, the 001, 001 G+® Spike and 002 create a holistic system of trail footwear to get you through any adventure your mind can conjure. The 003 is a Reimagined approach shoe designed to transition seamlessly between hiking, scrambling and running.
Q. Are norda shoes waterproof?
The upper is water-resistant, as Dyneema® is hydrophobic and does not absorb water. That said, it is not "waterproof" since the upper is woven. The norda™ 001 G+® Spike model is medium waterproof to 10,000mm.
Q. Can norda™ be used on road, walking or indoors?
nordas are virtually indestructible and thus can be used in any way your mind and heart desire.
(with the exception of the norda 001 G+ Spikes)
Q. Are norda™ made for different gaits?
Yes, our shoes have a neutral heel-to-toe offset (drop) to accommodate all running styles and biomechanics.
Q. Can I wear my norda™ with an orthopedic insole?
Yes, just remove the norda™ insole and insert yours.
Q. How long will my norda™ shoes last?
It depends on how hard you are on your shoes and the conditions you play in. Every individual has different expectations for their shoes. nordas are put through rigorous lab testing and trail running before final production. As a general rule, shoes should last a year and should be replaced every 700km (500 miles). That being said, we have many athletes who are racking up over 1600km (1,000 miles) on their nordas and swear they still feel great.
Q. What is Dyneema® and why is it important for the norda™?
Dyneema® is the world’s strongest and lightest fibre™. On a weight for weight basis, it is up to 15x stronger than steel, and 40% stronger than other aramid fibres while being light as a feather. As well as its extraordinary strength, Dyneema® excels in cut and abrasion resistance and has a high resistance to chemicals and UV. Dyneema® fiber is so light that it floats on water.
norda™ uses bio-based Dyneema® fiber, to provide the ultimate combination of strength, durability, lightweight and sustainability. We are the only brand on Earth using bio-based Dyneema® in a trail shoe upper.
Q. What is Vibram®?
Founded in 1937 and based in Italy, Vibram® is a manufacturer of soling products for footwear. They are regarded as the world’s best for the quality, durability and high performance of their products. The norda™ 001 sole is a collaboration between our company and theirs - we designed an exclusive norda™️ sole to deliver the highest quality and performance and the norda™ formation sole is only available on norda™ footwear.
Q. Where are your shoes manufactured?
The norda™ 001, norda™ 002 & norda™ 003 are truly global shoes and team effort. The Dyneema® material is from the United States, the upper materials are produced in Europe, and the assembly is in the finest R&D in China. Our partners have the highest ethical and compliance standards, as well as certifications and approval ratings from Bluesign®, ISO, FSC®, ISCC and other 3rd party companies.
Q. How do I care for my norda™ shoes?
It’s totally normal that your shoes will get dirty, especially if you take them on the trails! It’s best to remove the insole to allow for faster drying. Washing by hand with light soap and cold water yields the best results. We do NOT recommend using washing machines or hot water, and definitely do NOT expose the shoes to high heat which will damage the components of the shoes.
Q. What are norda laces made from, and how do I care for my norda™ laces?
Our laces are an innovation in themselves. They are the first running shoe laces made with bio-based Dyneema® filament, and recycled polyester. 100% of the laces are made with recycled and bio-based sustainable materials.

No, limited editions are released in limited quantities and are not restocked.
Q. What are norda™ shoes made of?
Our sustainability mission is to get the best performance out of the world’s best materials while leaving the lightest footprint possible. We are obsessed with durability over disposability. And we are constantly optimizing our packaging, shipping, sourcing and manufacturing options because innovation matters here too.
The entire main woven upper of our shoes is made with bio-based Dyneema® fibre, the world’s strongest and lightest fibre™. The materials are made in Europe - both the supplier and the actual material are Bluesign® certified.
The norda™ shoe laces are also made with bio-based Dyneema® fibre, and recycled polyester.
Our packaging is 100% FSC® certified recycled sourced, and made with 100% craft paper and white aqueous based ink; therefore it is 100% recyclable again. Boxes made with multiple colours of ink are pretty, but they are not fully recyclable.
Each pair of norda™ comes with a reusable carrying bag so you can transport your shoes and protect them.
