002 Alpine White Alpine White Summit Black Cinder

It’s hard to think of what I’d like to say about this shoe (or any of my nordas), because they are just out of this world.
All of my nordas are literally indestructible, I still own AND use my very first pair of 001s that has well over 1000k in them and was purchased in 2021. They just get better as I add the patina of all my adventures to them.
The added protection around the ankle in the 002 is great for fast and bumpy rides on more technical terrain or when I do my speedwork sessions. It’s super reactive and looks so sharp in case I want to wear then to work so that I’m ready to get cracking as soon as I clock out.
In a nutshell, nordas are the only shoe you’ll need for a very long time, on and off the trails.

I may be considered obsessed with being out on the trail where I often go from single-track to fire-road to scrambling up rocky peaks all in the same outing. For me, a perfect kit of which I think the perfect shoe is essential. I've tried every major brand over the years, but, continued searching for an all around better shoe for my mixed needs.

The Norda 001 was my first pair from this brand and I'd say it was the all around best fitting, performing, durable and great looking trail shoe I'd ever experienced. I did later realize I needed more padding around the heel collar, since the fit felt a little loose in the back.

The Norda 002 addressed this issue with the padded heel collar and now I'm certain that the show is perfect. Honestly, I did enjoy the increased mid-sole padding in the 001 and I was concerned Norda lowered this height a bit, but I really can't tell the difference in cushioned ride.

From soft dirt or mildly muddy conditions, hard packed dirt, loose gravelly trail, rock hopping along the trail or clinging to a sheer rocky peak... The Norda 002 inspires the most confidence, are the best wearing, comfiest, most durable and great looking shoe out there.

Final note. I would love to see this Cinder or White color with the beautiful classic gum sole like you offer in the 001.

Great shoes, I love the contact with the ground they provide vs more stacked shoes.
What i love the most is the fact that they can be worn easily on your run, but also on a day to day basis because they look great.
Important to note that the larger your feet are, the more you'll have to size up. I normally wear a 10W/8.5M and had to purchase those in a 9.5M to ensure my toes would not hit the front while trail running.

Ça fait 11 ans que je fais des ultras! J’ai essayé du Brooks, New Balance, On, Montrail et Salomon et aucune de ces marques n’est proche d’accoter la durabilité des Nordas.

Incredible shoe. Was skeptical of how it would hold up compared to the 001 but it’s a durable masterpiece. Thanks, Norda!
