002 does what it is supposed to do

Another shoe clearly designed for trail runners. HOKA lost their original focus on people who run trails, so I am so happy to have found a shoe producer that makes the perfect trail shoes…better than that other brand ever made. The model 002 certainly has better ground feel than the 001. I would like to see Norda create a G+ weather resistant version.

Worth it!

Fit/Grip/Comfort the 002 has it all. 100 miles in the shoe and it’s been a joy to finally run in Nordas.
One slight drawback, the drainage isn’t great when you inevitably submerge your feet but other than that the shoes are top notch 👌🏻

Comfortable and rugged

I am no longer trail running (age 69, two partial knee replacements) but will use these for hiking, walking, golf and flying my bush plane. I like the lower heel and lower-profile midsole for the last activity, which helps me feel the rudder pedals better. The sole looks like it will work really well for scrambling on scree/boulders. Also like the toe box that is roomier than other Norda shoes I have. Easily accommodates a custom insole with metatarsal pads.
