The 003’s upper is a unique laceless construction with an elasticized Bio-Dyneema upper. Though it may feel snug to the top of the foot at first, it molds to your feet quickly, providing an adaptable, personalized fit.

The standard 003 is water-resistant. Dyneema® is hydrophobic and does not absorb water, but the woven construction allows for airflow and drainage.

If you need additional protection, the 003 G+, a 003 with a water-resistant and thermoregulating graphene membrane offers water resistance rated to 10,000mm.

Yes. The traction, durability and cushioning of norda shoes makes them an excellent option for winter running. For extreme conditions, the 001 G+ Spike is ideal. It’s a winterized version of our foundational 001 model  equipped with durable carbide steel spikes that provide traction on snow and even ice.

The bio-based Dyneema® upper is engineered for extreme abrasion resistance.

The 003 features a custom Vibram® outsole developed exclusively with norda.

Vibram®, founded in 1937 in Italy, is widely regarded as the leader in high-performance rubber compounds. Our proprietary Vibram® formulation balances grip, durability, and traction across wet rock, loose terrain, and groomed trails — ensuring consistent performance in varied trail conditions.
