LF 2L Running Belt

For standard short, medium, and long-distance runs, yes: the norda x Raide LF 2L. Belt can carry more than enough hydration and nutrition, and can replace a hydration vest.

For ultra-distance races, yes, though this is dependent on the needs and personal preferences of the runner, and, in some cases for particularly long-distance races, race mandatory gear requirements. For a race that has consistently-spaced and frequent aid stations  (e.g. Western States), most runners will be able to carry more than enough water and nutrition in their belt and will not need a vest. However, some runners may opt for both a belt and hydration vest for extra storage room and ease of access.

So, in short, the norda x Raide LF 2L Belt can serve as a replacement for a vest for most runs, depending on the runner’s needs and preferences.

The norda x Raide LF 2L running belt offers five pockets in total: a large rear pocket that can fit two (2) 650ml soft flasks, two large “stuff pockets” and two interior gel pockets. It also has a pole/ice tool carry on its rear. 

The norda x Raide LF 2L Belt features an anatomical fit suitable for all body types, with a top circumference that’s 4” smaller than the bottom circumference. An interior binding system allows for slight fit customizations as well.

The norda x Raide LF 2L belt is the first true “zero bounce” trail running belt thanks to a rear suspension system that eliminates the bounce of any contents in the back pocket. 

The standard 001A is water-resistant. Dyneema® is hydrophobic and does not absorb water, but the woven construction allows airflow and drainage.
